Movie review Equalizer 2 and Netflix Jack Whitehall travels with father

[Dead Money]

Sadly, this time of year, not much to do other than watch TV, rake leaves, quality time with wife...

We are new to Netflix, it does offer some relief from the droves of idiot shows on cable.

EQUALIZER 2....I love anything Denzel does..he is smooth as melted chocolate.
If you saw Equalizer1, you get more of the predictable same.
Denzel is the avenger of the wronged again...kicks ass, takes no names.
He is "retired cia" with a lady friend whom is killed while investigating the murder of an agent in Europe.

Meanwhile, Denzel has befriended a young black student who is adrift and leaning towards joining a gang.

Denzel enters the investigation and opens up a big can of worms.

The bad guys are cleaning up loose ends,eventually go after Denzel, using the young student as collateral.

You know the ending...the bad guys lose, the student takes the right path.

I hope Denzel realizes this movie was a "cash grab" and there is no Equlaizer3.

I give it 2** out of 5, without Denzel, 1.5

Funniest thing on Netflix I have seen....


Jack is a free spirit British comedian about 30,....his dad, Michael is a 80 year old starchy upper crust Brit...

Dad put Jack in a private school when he was 6...basically not to have to raise him.
The whole purpose of their travels is to re-connect....kinda...

Season 1 they travel to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam...Jack wants to travel and eat like a local, Michael wants first class all the way...
The adventures and mis-adventures they share are
a laugh factory. Their personal inter-action is a riot.
Rather than give anything away, JUST WATCH IT.

Season 2 they go to the Bavarian Alps, Istanbul, Budapest, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine. Michael makes a classic currency mistake....2 hideous wool jackets for $3000.00

Moldova? Its a real country.....

I enjoyed season 1 more......
