i see that wsex has moved that line to -200 over 21 million. you must be throwing the big bucks at it, haha. i got in at oly, thanks man! i saw a prediction of 34 million for state of the union. how much do you think state of the union will beat hitchikers by? Thanks again.

Can't say XXX will beat Hitchikers but that's what i'm hoping. Hitchikers will bomb or have a huge weekend. My feeling tells me it will most likely be the first option but we'll see...

XXX at 34M? No way!!! I would be very surprise! I expect more a 24-26M weekend...

Personally, Id be tempted to play the over 21m prop, as I see that a good wager at a reasonable price like -115 or -125. Anything from 19-24 is expected. Not a -200 chalk type of bet.


Passing on the h2h matchup with HGTOG. Think XXX will get out to a fast start on Friday, then fade due to bad word of mouth, whereas I expect the other to be more solid over 3 days. Here's one snippet of a XXX review I came across.

"OK you don't expect a sequel to 2002's brainless XXX to be an action masterwork, but this is so preposterous that it feels like an overblown spoof of the original."

According to my friends in the market, we're going to have both movies with very low numbers for a friday... Looks like XXX will go well below our 21M and Hitchiker will beat XXX by 2M or so... Eager to see the estimates but i have a bad feeling....

read on some forums people saying both movies SUCKED. Seems like every box office forecast I saw on these 2 movies was way off. I saw one projection on Thursday for Hitch to do 42MM and XXX to do 33MM.

Pathetic thing is XXX is on 300 more screens that Hitch.
