The portfolio is updated for June 27, 2005 and includes all dividends from April to June=$911.11

Dr.un $36.66, CM $136, BFC $78.549, Iur.un $117, CLC.un $118.37, TEK $40, Inco $12.35, ATP.un $100.09, Rei.un $52.50, D.un $219.60.

plus $170 off XIU trade and FDG.un credit.

the funds have not really done anything in fact both Saxon funds were basically flat.
will lose CM, but looking at writing (selling ) $70 P CM.

will add to the BNS dividend fund, and may buy the mawer small cap, may get rid of Saxon but will probably keep it for now. Mawer has greatly outperformed saxon, mainly due to oil/gas holdings.

terrible timming sold Rei.un and now over $1 higher just missed on buying it back by .10. Also bought DR.un at $13.70 just before they bought another hospital in the US.

after a successfull financing at $13.25 it is selling down to $12.90. the transaction look good, and add to distributions. still since have a loss will not dollar cost until it shows a profit.

Tek and Inco are both lower and have been volatile mining stocks. however since wrote the covered calls they are still at a small profit.

will lower cash position soon.

buying 400 shares of eee.un @ $13.49 (close)

this is an oil/gas trust trades on Toronto it yields 12.45%, .14 cent monthly div.

latest results were okay but expect much better in the second half of the year and the payout ratio should fall.

main risk if oil and gas tank will lose money on the play.
would considering buying more of pwt.un however that has risen to $33.39 up from $29.35. now only yield just over 9%, so go with higher yield.

smaller trust than pwt.un but good management and prospects.

hope for a 10% return.

agree infinii BNS div fund is a great fund. a no load fund a major bank offers low mer of 1.19, low min $500, additional investments of $50. make this a great investment for investors just starting out or one who wants a well run fund geared to the financials.

top holdings. TD bank, RY bank, MFC, BMO, CIBC Yikes but will come back, ECA, POW great company would prefer Great west or investors no holding company discount anymore still who is going poor holding power corp????, Great West (well run Canada and US operations, MFC, SLF Great West are my Cdn. insurance plays.), TRP over 4% yield seems rich but will be growth in pipelines.

1yr 24.4 3yr. 16.9% and if you owned it since 92 the start you averaged 12.8%. a good solid return.

also own the TD monthly div fund 20%yr., there are many good dividend funds the banks offer in cdn. they seem to do well, Bmo, TD, CIBC, Royal have all good funds...maybe missing some, still would rate BNS div at the top due to recent and long term performance and a low mer.

SLF, MFC, TD, Great West are companies worth watching and at times building a position in, own SLF, MFC (have puts written on it), and TD puts written, and own a postion at $56 believe it hits $60 cdn by year end.

good luck

an order to buy 200 shares of ATP.un @ $10.35

yields 9.44%, had great numbers so will build up postion. volatile...

order good til the end of the week. would also consider CF.un, and maybe COU.un (still not sure on the company.) and not enough yield.

thanks

atp.un order did exprire, though the week later hit the $10.35.

selling two puts on Montreal IPS @ Nov $64 $1.90 = $380 credit.

$380 goes to cash, ipsco is a steel company that operates in the US and Canada. I do not care for steel stocks but this one is not that expensive and provides steel for the pipelines.

North America needs more pipelines and also the ones we have are old, old old, and need replaced.

if steel drops so do they but should help pipeline cushion the fall, also trades at a 7 PE and pays a div.

Cdn. steel stocks I trade Dofasco, Ipsco, Algoma (sometimes), would not buy stelco if someone gave me the money.

money goes to cash will update divs and portfolio in two weeks.

will write (sell) a covered call again on Inco Jan $52.50 (bid $2.85 ask $3) credit $285

the $285 goes to cash as always take the worse price for record purposes.
