thanks to all the MJ people. We really felt right at home in no time and had a great time meeting and talking with everyone.

We didn't know we would be able to attend until the last minute and with the help of Fletcher we were able to be part of this years party. Thanks Fletch, I didn't know catchers could be so nice and helpful:D

When we first got in, it was about noon Sunday and we started to check out the place, feeling a little strange going to a party and not having met anyone face to face before. I wore my MJ shirt so if we looked like we were lost and just wandering around someone would find us;)

Well, we started out to find the party room and were standing in the elevator when Jack, Jack Sr and Kosar get on. I thought I recognized them from last year's party pictures on the site, but wasn't really sure and they hadn't seen my shirt yet, so I just blurted out aren't you Jack and the ice was broken and we all had a laugh about my shirt and no one noticing it right away.

My wife (Vangela) and I went to get our bets in and play a little before the party started. After making a nice contribution to the Sunset Station's bottomline, we got to the party about 1:30 and immediately started to meet everyone.

We found a table and were joined by Nevercaughtup (David and his lovely wife Jo. It was great to share a table with such a nice couple and be able to get to know them. David is such a personable guy and very knowledgable, I've been gambling for over 30 years and learned some new things talking with him, you're never too old to learn something new:D

4bubba joined us as he was right behind us but no one else was at his table, so we all just partied together. I've got to say that he was great fun to drink and party with. He told me about his ideas for the match up forum for next year, this guy works his butt off on that Thread and I know for me, I will be contributing more to it next year. Thanks bubba (Paul), we never laughed so hard or had so much fun partying with you.

The rest of the party was just meeting everyone and putting faces to their handles, drinking, eating and watching our 2nd contribution to the Sunset Station bottomline being made on the big screen:mad:

I just wish we could have had more time to spend with everyone, but at least we got to know some of you better. Plus the longer the party went on the more I couldn't remember who I had just met, wonder why :D

Global Trance was a great guy and was taking everyone's picture and handing out his special CD's to everyone. GT you did a great job, it was nice meeting ya.

We had KC Wolf and his wife, Nick Douglas and his girlfriend, sititng around us and got to meet alot of people who came to talk to them and we were able to talk to Nick's girlfreind for a little bit, very nice Nick ;)

Met Senor Capper and he is just as funny in person as in his posts, and such a easy going person to talk to. We met Nolan, just wish we could have talked with him more, but not enough time. Ironlock, 1837, Bahama Mama (Happy Birthday), RAYMOND and Miss D (what a nice lady and lives right up the road from us here in So Cal) I could go on and on, but this is getting too long. I wish I could mention everyone as they were all such great people to meet.

And last, but not least, Jack and Jack Sr. You have a great site and great people associated with it and I can see why, after meeting you and your Dad. You throw one hellva a party. Thanks for making my wife and I feel welcome and hope we can contribute to next years party to make it even better, if that is possible. :toast:
