Nice matchup of two of the top three teams in women's hoops on Friday night.

WNCAA is fairly predictable, Massey ratings have been a good resource. For example, Massey predicted the score of the UConn/Old Dom game at 80-60 when in fact it turned out 85-64. He called Duke/SC at 79-68 and it ended 77-68.

Massey's prediction records at the 90%+ confidence level for the straight-up winners in beaver ball have been money in the bank for ML players at 176-4.

Connecticut better be careful!

Tennessee is definitely the pick! Not because they are better. They're Not! Better coached....not hardly! Talent...Nope! CT would be the play here a month ago.....but recent play suggests that CT is relying on spurts and May be playing a little tired.

Penn State gave them a game (6 points at the half) and some uncharacteristic lapses in D....shooting off somewhat too. Lost by about 20 but were better than spread I believe.

Then .....after the most unbelievable start in any game I've ever seen.( 12 or so min ..some 30 + points 13 for 13 fg% 3 for 3 from 3.....6 for 6 from the stripe....and 11 assists.....they were perfect
BUT after that they played ODU even and won by the same 20 they were up after 12 min.

Maybe its getting hard to be so good........and stay disciplined for 40 min. maybe getting tired????????? FOR SURE...Tennessee is going to show up and as all are.... they will be pumped to knock off CT.

Tennessee + how many??? Take the points and look for a closer game than last meeting (14)

I like em but wont bet em....... although I had intentions after Penn St and ODU.
CT is too damn good. I'm wavering so I'll watch it!

Bear -- I hear you, UConn is tough but I see the Lady Vols keeping it within 15. A good play might be UConn -7.5 at the half.
