Giving the MVP trophy to anyone but LeBron in the last 10 years and going forward is like giving a trophy to 5th place in the T-BALL league. Essentially the same thing while Jordan was in the league during that amazing 8 year stretch.

No Kyrie, JR and Cavs smoke a EC home team.

No LeBron and Cavs get smoked by just about anyone they play.

This is why they need to name it Most Outstanding Player, then you can give the award a little credibility by giving it to anyone else.

Unanimous MVP Curry :facepalm::mj07:

Don't get me wrong, what Russ and Harden are doing are amazing...statistically...But if LeBron was on those teams, they'd be in the NBA finals while neither of those team will sniff their conference finals.

Man, there you go again, putting on the knee pads for Lebron...As much as I dislike him Russell Westbrook is the MVP of the League this year. And I cannot believe you actually put J.R. Smith in the same league much less the same sentence as Kyrie Irving.

It honestly isn't even close who the MVP is. Is it the most VALUABLE player award, or is it the most outstanding?

Russ = most outstanding. But Hardens performance last night was incredible.

LeBron = MVP, and 2nd place isn't even close.

The historical data AND performance on the court back it up.

5 years from now people are going to be :mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07: of Curry getting unanimous MVP.

Ps. Remember when you said the Cavs have no chance? :mj07:

Guess what? Warriors have no chance of beating Cleveland this year unless...#1 LeBron breaks his leg and doesn't play, or #2 the Warriors get a legitimate big man who can protect the rim(and that's not possibly without the expense of Livingston or Iggy). :mj07::mj07:

From my understanding MVP is the most valuable player "to their team".......gotta agree it's neck and neck so far with Lebron and Westbrook this season! Without either one of them on the floor for their respected teams it's like night and day. They both make their teams what they are. At this point it's a draw......

As for the Warriors.....they have so many super stars anyone of them sits that train keeps rolling along. That's not MVP caliber IMO for any of those players. Durant the closest one
