I have been hanging around here for a couple months, but have never posted my picks. Thought I would start right now.
UNLV +2
I know this game started, but if you look in Raymond's Friday thread I said I liked this game last night. I just think UNLV is a very solid team from a pretty strong conference that often gets overlooked. They are athletic enough to hang with a team like Georgia Tech.
Oregon -8
Miami is one of those teams who really shouldn't be in the tournament. They made a miracle shot to get in and I think they might be pumped to be here, but they are not an athletic team at all. Oregon is the epitome of an athletic team. I think Oregon could do what they did against USC and just run Miami off the court.
USC -2
I think USC is getting the short end of the stick in this game because of their last showing vs. Oregon. They are a very solid team who I think could even upset Texas in the next round. Nick Young is a very talented player who will play in the NBA. If Pruitt and Stewart get going at all this team can score. Taj Gibson is a legit inside presence along with a solid defender. USC has problems with teams who have size up-front, however, they have played Stanford well 2 times this season and they have size.
