Got the call 2 hours ago from my best buddies wife that he passed away today. I will always remember them both as I went to the high school prom with them with my high school sweetheart. Seems like yesterday. Sorry for posting this on a public forum. I am a basket case......I remember riding together. drinking, smoking . ect... listening to Boston, zztop, bad company, especially Bob Seger and the silver bullet band. His grand parents owned a farm in michigan that we both worked from at the age of 14 - 18. Rick was of polish decent and the best person I have ever known. We both grew up poor yet we did not know it then. Rick's sons also called and refer to me as uncle. He had a massive heart attack this morning. 12-12-12 RIP my brother, my friend for eternity.
