Thank you Easy for giving me a little more peace of mind.
This game entirely jumped out at me from the "bad line" school of thought. No way it makes sense for a 21-3 Providence team to be giving only 3 to a 13-14 Butler that just got pasted (almost doubled up) by St Johns.
It's really hard for me to suspend the obvious and trust in the logic, but this seems like a tailor-made situation of a line that completely screams for Friar money.
Butler just got great news with Bo Hodges (muscle strain) returning to the lineup. He's been a difference-maker when healthy and getting him back after missing the last two games greatly impacts the odds of the Bulldogs pulling off the upset in Hinkle. The blowout loss to St. John's last time out showed Hodges' value not just on offense (8.8 ppg, 4th on the team) but also as a key piece of the defensive game plan.
and teamed with MICHIGAN  in a teaser BUT I lose either way, I was going to take BUTLER M/L with the teaser money, that would have been a harder pill to swallow. I would have been throwing punches like the Michigan coach had I lost that!! :SIB
