Unfortunately its not saying much. . . I haven't been around or posted many games this year and I've been on a losing streak (not sure how many. . . but at least 3 or more). That being said, I have a lot of confidence in playing:

UCLA +2 over Memphis

I think we have a false favorite based on how Memphis has looked their past two games. The reality is that Michigan State and especially Texas did not match up well with Memphis at all. UCLA matches up much better. There will not be as significant of a difference in the size of the backcourts which killed Texas. Also, I know the Tigers have faired well from the charity stripe the last two games but the averages are going to catch up to them. Its hard to pick against a hot team that steamrolled over a very good Texas team but I think this is the spot to go against Memphis.

No opinion or lean on the other matchup although its tempting to take the points with Kansas. I'd rather sit back and :0corn

respect your opnion on pac-10 games but couldnt disagree more with your last pick, stanford vs texas and disagree with you here as well....although not as confident about this one as i was with texas over stanford.

think it's a fairly even matchup both ways but still think memphis is more athletic and bigger than ucla, who lacks a backup to collison (who might find himself in foul trouble guarding rose)....also think that ucla scoring droughts finally catch up to them (memphis also has the benefit of playing in a dome last weeend while ucla didnt).

think the line is right, game is tight, but memphis wins (i'll be on the moneyline so i guess here's to both of us winning...memphis by 1!)

nickelback, i have some terrible news for you (but great news for gjn)... i agree with you 100%. i think memphis played as well as they are capable of playing last weekend, and that has severely inflated this line. the only team memphis faced in the tournament that played defense anything like ucla was missisippi state, and they barely beat them. i don't think memphis will be ready for the pounding ucla will put on them. dorsey will be in instant foul trouble trying to guard love. you simply don't force your tempo on ucla. the bruins will make memphis play a halfcourt game, and i don't think the tigers can win that game. dammit, i think that's my write-up for my post tomorrow. :)
