Sussy: Yes sir our supervisor would like to discuss this with you over the phone

I had lost my account ID for Players S-B sportsbook. I wanted to take advantage of the 100% bonus. I called in telling them I lost my ID number, they put me on hold for 1min. then asked me a serious of questions and 3-5min. later I had my ID. Point being you get things done faster talking over the phone. Now mybookie is a different sportsbook but I have an account there and the c/s been great. Only complaint I have with mybookie is I called in to make a wager, told them how much, then they gave me 1/2 pt less than original line. That was BS. 30 sec. ago it was +15 and then I call and after I tell them side they made it +14.5. So I hung up on them but next time I will make them give me the lines before I say which side. Learned my lesson. I will now do this practice at all sportsbooks. I advise others to do the same as well.

I think you are forgetting it was your fault for losing your account ID. Not the sportsbook. It might be a good thing if a sportsbook makes you jump through a lot of loops to get your ID. So maybe you should be more understanding.

I'm not a guy to side with books and an hour does seem to be excessive (sp?). But, I'm glad when books go to great lengths to make sure that I'm not getting ripped off by identity theft.

Also to touch on Scott's point, I used to have to call in wagers before, and when calling in your bet ALWAYS ask for the line by the team name you are NOT going to bet. I.E., last night if you liked Pittsburgh, ask them "whats the line on the eagles game tonight." If there is any funny business, at least you are getting the best of it.

Somebody's been "around the block".

Btw, on Sunday night the "over" was seemed to be the popular play. Most offshores had the total at 35 / 34'.

Locals in this area had it at 35'.

This is always a good idea if you use a local instead of online accounts, but if you call him often you might want to ask what the line is for Philly at Pitt, because if you always call up and ask for the line of the team you're not betting for and then tell him you want the other team, he'll eventually start pushing the line the other way.
