Obviously, I want to see UM in the title game, so this is a UM fans' perspective
1) Florida won their conference. That's a nice accomplishment and it earns them a spot in the Sugar Bowl, automatically. That's all it earns them under the current system. Boise won their conference, does that mean they are one of the best two teams in the country? Michigan would have won the SEC and may not have had a loss along the way. Florida didn't have to travel to CBus this year. If they did, they wouldn't even be in the discussion.
2) Rematch or no rematch, UM is the better team and would give OSU the best game. Michigan would be a full TD favorite over Florida at a neutral site, per ESPN's contacts in Las Vegas.
3) Michigan has been ahead of Florida in both polls and the BCS for 7 weeks? There are reasons for this.....(6 point win over Vandy, 1 pt win over SC, 10 pt loss to Auburn). Michigan played a schedule that Sagarin and others rank ahead of Florida's and didn't need any blocked kicks, missed extra points or bonehead fumbled punts to win those games.
All in all, I think UM will not get in, and Florida will get beat soundly by OSU. Michigan will take out its anger on SC in the Rose.
That's it. I'm sure Florida fans will try and make a case. Back to capping for me.
