Hey fellas.......pretty crazy story here. I "used" to do a little of my gambling on Bowmans because they ran a pretty decent contest at one point and you had to throw them a bone to enter......Well I finished up with them 2 months ago. They give back 10% on your losses, which is OK, but isnt usually a big deal. Well 2 months ago I lost about 600-650 dollars, so I had a 60-65 dollar bonus added to my account.....well I blew that on garbage that didnt hit......well I got an email from them again saying that I got a bonus of like 6 bucks for losing the "free" money that they gave me!
So I said hell with it.....I went into the ole golf forum and saw what the boys were liking this week in the MCI tournament, because I followed Stanley a little in the Masters and did quite well (Thanks by the way!) And I decided that Stewart Cink was the best shot of the bunch......so I laid my big 6 bucks on him at 25-1....and you know the rest of the story! Funny thing is.....is I wouldnt have even bothered to check to see who won, because I saw he was down by a ton of strokes going into Sunday......but I was curious how my boy Ben Curtis did, since I am Ohio and have talked to him many times. Unreal.......
Cant believe that he won the tourney!! I know that the 130 bucks that I won isnt a big deal, but it is always nice to turn mere "free" crumbs into a significant amount!
