was gonna bet $100 each, just for the action, but they had limits. ugh!

sean penn--taking a shot at 20/1. why not? he did a decent job, crowe has won before, denzel, well, i took him too, will smith = dickhead and not liked by the voters, tom wilkenson--good job but not this time.

kidman--spacek doesn't deserve it, neither does berry, i didn't see the other two, just going on kidman and her popularity with the academy.

jon voight--has he won before? don't think so. did a decent job and that film HAS to win something, right? i think this guy brings home that something. i didn't see the other performances from the others, just taking a rooting action shot.

denzel--deserves the trophy--great performance by a great actor.

Moulin Rouge--i thought the movie sucked but most of the movies that win the award suck, imo. i'll take the semi-longshot.

good luck!

Jack, I think he won a Best Supporting Oscar for "Midnight Cowboy". At that price he is worth a shot. I like the fav in this spot Ian McKellen. My vote would be Ben Kingsley for "Sexy Beast" It is out on Dvd/video now if you didnt catch it. Great British gangster flick. Cheers! and good luck!
