Every day I'm gonna try posting my POD. Usually gonna be one play that I really like - but today there seems to be 2. Have not posted here in a LONG time so you may not recognize the name. Either way here's what I like:

ETSU -17.5 vs. Citadel

CITADEL NOTES

Senior guard Erick Wilson was suspended Saturday, and his status for Monday's game against East Tennessee State is uncertain, Dennis said. Wilson was involved in an altercation with a spectator in last Monday's game at Elon. "I looked at the film, which I had not looked at yet, and it was an issue that had to be dealt with," Dennis said. "We don't condone that kind of behavior."

Erick Wilson averages 6.7 points and 17 minutes per ball game, so for an already weak Citadel team, this will have an impact IF he is for sure suspended. This will also leave The CITADEL with only ONE Senior on the team and ONE Junior who averages less than 5 minutes per game.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

E TENN ST is 18-2 ATS (+15.8 Units) after playing 3 consecutive games as favorite over the last 3 seasons.
The average score was E TENN ST 82.0, OPPONENT 69.7 - (Rating = 4*)

ETSU has tied the program record for its 13th straight win, and are going to break the record tonight. Also they are undefeated in Southern Conference play.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Citadel is the proud owner of the following Situational Power Trends ATS.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

after 1 or more consecutive losses 2-11 (12-25 the last 3 seasons)

after 5 or more consecutive losses 1-6 (1-9 the last 3 seasons)

after a conference game 2-9 (13-28 the last 3 seasons)

after failing to cover 3 of their last 4 against the spread 0-5 (1-11 the last 3 seasons)

after playing a game as an underdog 2-12

after scoring 60 points or less 1-8

as a home underdog or pick 0-8 (1-11 the last 3 seasons)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Citadel is 2-13 overall ATS this season and if you go back to last season 2-19 over their last 21 games.

Basically... Citadel is one of the best ATS teams in the country for bettors.

Utah -2.5 vs. Wyoming

Not too much to writeup on this as it is what it is.

In their five league games under Majerus, the Utes averaged 60.4 points and 44.8 field-goal attempts.
In three straight wins under Rupp -- all played at the Huntsman Center -- Utah averaged 66.3 points and 53.3 field-goal attempts.

Rupp loves the uptempo style of coaching and frankly, Wyoming isn't all that great of a team. The line seems about right so if you're not as sure, i'd buy 1/2 point.

Utah won their previous meeting by 11 and are on a 4 game winning streak at Wyoming who's lost 7 of 8. I'd like Utah to pull this one out.

only thing that worries me about e tenn st is that this game is the perfect spot to coast, with the bucs going to fresno on saturday for the big bracket buster game on espn.

exactly. dangerous game if for no other reason than etsu being more than content to win by 12 or 13- but not ever feel threatened

I like looking at trends and stats a lot. Just by that alone, this looks like a good matchup and an ETSU cover.

In the past, they've been known as a good favorite to still cover the spread.
