1. Green Bay Packers (4-0) - The Packers look strong this year and they are one of the only pre season favorites actually living up to the hype. Maybe another Packers Super Bowl victory will convince Prince Fielder to stay in Milwaukee.

2. Detroit Lions (4-0) - Football's only other undefeated team and it is not by accident. The Lions are one of the league's best home teams and still have 7 games left to play in Detroit. They will need a Boston or Atlanta-esque collapse to miss out on the playoffs this year.

3. New England Patriots (3-1) - They are not even near the force they used to be and their defense has more holes than a wheel of swiss cheese, but in a division with a terrible Miami team, a very average Jets team, and an over hyped Bills squad, the Patriots are once again a shoe in for the playoffs.

4. New Orleans Saints (3-1) - Only two years removed from their Super Bowl win yet they do not get the respect they deserve. Drew Brees is a top QB in the league and they possess an offense capable of winning any shootout. Darren Sproles has also shown to be a more than competent replacement for struggling Miami "feature back" Reggie Bush.

5. Houston Texans (3-1) - Although I do not think they are as good as everyone is making them out to be, but they are winning, and if the defense can play above average, they will be a legitimate playoff team. If the Colts were playing like the Colts of recent years, than I think the Texans would post another season where they hovered around the .500 mark.
