saw Enemy at the Gates, good film, there are many of them.

though I hate sub titles, Stalingrad would rate near the top. It is about the famous WW2 battle from a german soldiers view. Great Film.

thanks

Ventura, Ca.
The Light Horseman.

I believe title is right. A Austrailian movie about the Cavalry during WW One. Very very good.

To Late the Hero

By the Director of Dirty Dozen. Cliff Robertson as a American officer who ends up reluctantly in a mission with the British on a island in the pacific during WW2. Not as good as the Dirty Dozen but solid. Not sure if many remember it.

A couple of more obscure choices. Agree with many above though Patton has not been mentioned. Can't leave that out.
