I live 5 minutes from airport and the official count there is just over 13.5 inches:scared
Been lucky to keep power so far but I live right between Antioch and Opryland which have hit hard and they are just breaking news that they are now evacuating Opryland Hotel for the first time in history
Tried calling my buddy in Bellevue and just heard that it has no power or no cell service in the whole community

I'm over in West Meade right next to Bellevue. Cell phone is shoddy, for sure. If he's in Bellevue, electric is gone. NES substation is under water.
Spent most of the day in shelters and Wal-mart.
Unreal how people pull together in times of need. The make-shift shelter at the Jewish Community Center by my house was expecting to get 50 people. They are now housing 230 and expected to have them through tomorrow night as well.
Witnessed several people being rescued by boat from their second story windows today.
7 people confirmed dead in TN right now.
glad to hear you are doing ok bud...thought of you earlier as I know where you live and saw what is happening out that way...wanted to text you but misplaced your number...Bellevue is a disaster area and wish I could get in touch with my friends, they live off Old Harding Rd and very close to the Harpeth River...be safe buddy!
Where dunclock's buddy lives is one of the worst hit.
I haven't heard a report recently, but by 1 pm there had been 600+ people rescued from their homes by boat. That continued all day and night and continues today.
I was in his area earlier and they were saying that everyone who was in danger had been removed on that road.
Many people are without electricity and can't get in/out of their neighborhoods.
Potable water sources are getting close to emergency levels as well.
Don't know if you have been near a TV but the Cumberland crested and now 10 feet of water inside Opryland Hotel and the river has expanded over a mile over the banks....Pennington Bend and Lakewood all you can see are rooftops
