NOP -2.5 1Q x4

I like this situation for the Pels. Coming off the b2b situation where they took the NBA's best to the wire and pulled out a win to move into the 8th spot in the best. Then, the following night they get blown out in Memphis in a game where the Grizz were highly motivated and the Pels were playing on weary legs, giving the starters a much needed rest in the 2nd half. In come the Suns to New Orleans, who are fresh off a strong showing in Dallas in which they gave it their all in a close loss that officially ended their playoff hopes. Len and Knight are officially done for the season and this team's spirit is now broken. NOP should come out to a strong start looking for redemption from Wednesday's blowout and being highly motivated to hold on to that 8 seed, while PHX has nothing to play for. NOP might also have the ugly loss they suffered in PHX just 3 weeks ago in the back of there minds when they were neck-in-neck with PHX in the standings and were playing without Davis. This one could get ugly, but if it remains close after a quarter or the 1st half, I expect that I'll be jumping on an in-game and/or halftime line on the Pelicans.

Analysis

Analysis

BOS +8 (-120) x5

I got a generous line here and bought it up a half to give myself some cushion, but a play on the ML may be in order, as well. The Celts have been a phenomenal bet-on team over the past few weeks and have been playing excellent ball in their push for the playoffs. Much of the credit goes to the young coach Stevens, but newcomers Crowder and Thomas have been huge off the bench as well. Possibly the most dangerous element of this young squad is that they've played like a team with nothing to lose. Cleveland, on the other hand, is locked into the 2 seed in the East and, while they will most likely start the game with a full deck of cards (note, LeBron is IN, but Shumpert may sit this one out), there is no assurance that their starters will finish the game with motivation in this spot being a question. Boston should be looking at this home and home set with Cleveland as a means to lock up a playoff spot and to exact some revenge for the two prior losses they suffered at the hands of the Cavs on Nov 14th and Mar 3rd. In fact, the last time the Celtics played here, it wasn't pretty, with the Cavs crushing the Celts en route to a 110-79 victory. This is also a potential playoff preview of the first round 2-7 match-up, so it's entirely possible that CLE will stick with a somewhat vanilla game plan in order to conceal as much as possible from the sly and studious Brad Stevens. Expect max effort tonight from the C's against a somewhat complacent Cavs group that should be on cruise control.

WAS/BKN UNDER 199 x2

Playoff intensity basketball tonight at Barcalys center. WAS without Wall and the total in the prior three meetings of these teams hasn't come close to this number.

Yeah went to bet it and as I was typing my password it jumped from 199.5 to 197. Guess I'm laying off now. :scared

I think there's still some value at 197. Maybe hope for a high scoring start then jump on an in-game line.

Boston getting steamed down now too :mj07:

One last one before most of the games tip...

NYK TEAM TOTAL UNDER 90 x2

Knicks are going to have trouble putting points up tonight with some scorers out, including Bargniani. Kidd will have his guys ratchet up the Defensive intensity in preparation for the playoffs and this team tends to bounce back with a strong defensive effort after a couple of losses. I like that Antetokounmpo is starting tonight as well.

Glad I got on Boston early. Got +8 and the moneyline at +260. Go Celts!

Nice :0074
I'm going to have to settle on an in-game ML in case CLE gets off to a fast start. I was waiting for +270 to show and never got it before it was taken off the board when the Kyrie news came out.

This second half line seems low to me, so maybe tread with caution, but TOR is still playing for home court in the 1st round. Maybe his back is bothering him because Lowry hasn't contributed yet, but I think he reaches back (*ahem*) for something in the 2nd half and TOR puts together a run to take control.

TOR -4.5 2H x2

Thanks for the Celtics play :0074
