heres my xmas gift to all of you that struggle to beat the nba. this doesn't help much, becuase you can't see it pre-game unless you study the line movements......but heres a brief recap of this shady league and take it for what its worth:

overnight, celtics open as -8.5 favorites....

sharps gradually bet the celts overnight and get it to 9 and some b&m books move to 9.5

internet limits get raised at most shops at 10 am and the sharps bang it 10 where it stays stagnant for a couple hours.

then the buyback begins and the sharps who took the 8.5 fall in love with the 10 and have a middle and no risk situation because the game is gonna be fixed anyway.

the game plays normally the 1st half. then the celtics who are the better team pull away and get right around the magical number. the game is sitting at 9 with 3 minutes left. the players know they have to stay within this as well as joey crawford who of course is doing his best.

philly gets it to 7 with 2:00 left and the teams start calling timeouts to make sure they are all on the mobs page, because nobody in the nba is that smart.

the game and true fix gets interesting with 1 minute left.

garnett hits two free throws to go up by 11

philly gets a 3 point play to cut to 8 with 50 seconds left.....no good for the mob, must get past 8

boston misses with 30 seconds left and philly scores to get within 6.....oh chit mob help

garnett gets fouled and makes 2 to go up 8... with 18 seconds left....no good for the mob

philly calls timeout to get yelled at for not doing their part.

philly inbounds ball and throws it basically into the stands........

12 seconds now down 8, boston ball......99.9% of the time teams dribble out the ball.....not in fixed games......

williams lets it go for a second as his brain is slow to do the math and forgot the conversation in the timeout a minute ago. he's adding and subtracting the score in his head and it takes a bit obviously. then like a bat out of hell he runs over to eddie house and mauls him.
normal people don't notice this, apparently squares are all in agreement down 8 with 12 seconds to go you should foul........

house makes both with 8 seconds left.... and philly gets the ball. the lane and whole court is open for what would always be an uncontested layup to get back to 8.....not where the mob needs to be......

williams dribbles to 10 feet behind the arc with 8 seconds left and heaves a ball that almost hits the ceiling in an apparent shot......lol

and that my friends is an nba fix at its finest......

Were the Celtics playing the Lakers? I thought you didn't watch the NBA?

You just described about 80% of NBA endings...the key as I see, is knowing the story behind the line moves. But how, oh how do you know if it's the sharps hitting those overnight lines, or some baller from Alexandria Virginia? Do tell.......

I tend to agree that all sports are fixed in one way or the other.....there is just no way anyone in there right mind can predict the spreads of these games and have them hit so close around the number the majority of the time. There is just no way IMO. NFL is pretty bad also...just look at how NE won just the other night. With millions of dollars being wagered on these games someone out there has "control". No way that much money is just going to float around with noone controlling the situation. That's why you're either on the "right" side or the "wrong" side of the fix......Tonight, the Celtics were the "right" side. Of course if you played them before it got to 10, but a push is still sufficient the way the game was going through 3 qrts for Celtic backers.
