The Warriors have been the team to beat for what seems like an eternity now and they are still the team to beat coming into this finals matchup against the Raptors. Why are they the team to beat? They are the reigning NBA Champions. They have been the best team in basketball for years and although they did not finish with the best record in the NBA this year, according to Vegas and the online sportsbooks, they are still the team to beat. The Toronto Raptors look very good and as every NBA fan knows, the East is simply not as good as the West. How does this translate? Do we see a 4, 5, 6, or 7 game series? Stick around, let?s check it out.
NBA Championship Preview and Predictions - Warriors vs. Raptors
The playoffs are the real story in the NBA and every fan knows this to be true. The playoffs are when the real season starts. The online bookies know what?s up and they have set the lines accordingly, at least they think they have, but have they really?
The Warriors looked like their old selves once again and this playoff season has been another exceptional run. Forget about the regular season, it means nothing to the Warriors. They had their ups and down and they have adjusted. Steve Kerr is the adjustment king and he gets lifetime performances out of his stars. They have an uncanny way of stepping up when the time is right. It?s what they do, it?s in their blood, they were born with it. Betting this series will be magnificent for one reason; betting options. The online bookie want your business, they need it and they will get it any way they can, with prop bets, player props, team props, and game props.

Once again Curry has been the magician. He has been stellar and unstoppable. Game one of the first round is a great example with 38 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists, and it just continues. Durant, Bogut, Iiguodala, Green, they have all been on top of their A game. This team has shown up and done exactly what they do every year; demoralize their opponent. Houston was awful and could have been swept, Portland was even worse, and they were swept.
Can Toronto make this a series?
Yes, they can. The Warriors are the team to beat, however, the Raptors have a new kid in town, and his name is Kawhi. The best move in the Toronto Raptors history was signing that guy. He is not only a great baller, he?s a great team guy and he can take over games. As stupid as it may sound, he is very Jordan like. In fact, it?s not stupid at all. Kawhi is a gifted NBA player and he has talent to burn. He is a leader and a motivator, he get?s the most out of his teammates.

Both teams come in on a roll and both have great stat lines that are for the most part, close. The stats are close with exception of points allowed. The Warriors allow a pile, and Toronto is playing somewhat old school with a tight fisted 99.6 points allowed. The Warriors will struggle on the road and they need the road. They must pick up a win in Toronto or this series will go the way of the Raptors. For the sake of the bettors, we think this one splits in Toronto. Toronto rides that wave and probably gets the victory in game one. Then as always, the Warriors regroup and head back to the bay with a road victory, all knotted up at 1-1.
The Raptors have a lineup that will be a difficult matchup for the Warriors in Siakam, Leonard, Gasol, Lowry, and Green. Every one of these five can play defense and they can hang around. One exception?Curry goes off for 45. That just might happen, and it just might happen against any team in the NBA. These guys are the Warriors, don?t forget!
In short; this will be a tough series, hard-fought and it will not be easy for either. The Raptors are a great team and match up well, but they are not enough. The Warriors are a machine and they win this series in six games or less. Get on it, call the online bookmaker and get the money in for what will be fun and an absolutely competitive series.
