Stayed up the other night to witness UNLV's dismantling of this Hawaii team. Holy Cow they are awful. Poor shooting, no interior play, they don't respond well to pressure, just nothing in their favor in this matchup against a team coming off a poor performance and a horrible loss that will bounce back vigorously today.

NBA Selections: Agreed with ax before I even brought up the thread, Miami +2.5, also going against the grain today and taking Clev +6, Denver +1.5 and Phx Over 212.5

Watched Hawaii the other day too - not many good players on that squad...plus one of their better players did bang his knee near the end, not sure of his status, but sure looks good as I would expect double digit win based on the talent difference.

I think I'm going to grab the 5.5 with SMU in game one too -- similar to the BYU pay the other day...fans in town for the football bowl game victory last night...so should have the crowd on their side.

I think we missed the boat on this one.. At least I did.. NOW I remember reading in a thread last year that on Christmas day the early games usually go UNDER and the DOGS cover.. The record was amazing for unders and good for the dogs... Has to do with Christmas and the teams really wanting to be with families, plus the home team players have been celebrating with families while the road team is more on a normal travel schedule.. I am rambling but they just are not focused on Basketall. I told myself last year to write it down and remember it and of course I forgot.. So I am going to take the unders in the next game..
