Nice sweep going 3-0 last night and now 29-10-3 for the NBA playoffs. Doing better than I anticipated and hoping it continues!

Spurs @ Dallas - In a series which most of the games have been close and you could have taken Dallas every single game and covered, it would take a really sick individual to bet on the Spurs to cover this game. Well I think Dallas is finally cooked and the Spurs will celebrate a victorious series tonight winning by at least 3 points (well hopefully, could see them winning by 1 or 2 and screwing me!) At any rate, the Spurs are well overdue to cover a game in this series and I believe they close out tonight.

Spurs -2.5 (-120) for 10*

Toronto @ Brooklyn - Here is the realization I have about this series. The Raptors are becoming incredibly more confident while Brooklyn is just an old team which other than Joe Johnson, doesn't have anyone playing very well. Deron Williams and Paul Pierce can look solid at times, but can also flat out disappear. Lowry and DeRozan are tearing the Nets a new a-hole at times as well with their speed. The Raptors backcourt with Vasquez and Ross included is too quick for the much slower footed Nets and just about every game has been decided by 5 points or less and I see this trend continuing so will grab the points again! While the Raptors lack presence in the front court, so do the Nets! I could see Brooklyn sneaking a win, but not covering. However, the sharper play is taking the points IMHO.

Toronto +5 for 10*

Rockets @ Blazers - One thing is for certain, the Rockets are winning the rebounding battle and they're making the necessary adjustments as the series keeps going. Aldridge was awful in game #5 and Howard is really starting to dominate in the post. Lopez played a great game #5, but the Rockets seemed to have gain some real mojo and I believe carry it forward and win or lose and cover tonight in what appear to be another nail biter.

Rockets +4 for 10*

Well sorry anyone who followed today. Went 1-2 and now 30-12-3 for the playoffs, was bound for a bad day and really only regret one pick. Freaking Spurs sucked down the stretch and Craptors just never really showed up besides DeRozan. If I had to do it over again, I would have taken the Mavericks based on the fact Spurs should probably have been a pick'e, and not -3 base on the fact they were -6.5 approximately at home vs. this same team. Spurs also look old while Mavs are also old, but they look more inspired which is why they could have covered every game in this series if you had a good number (2 games could have been pushes as well.) Glad Rockets covered and glad we have 5 game #7's which should be fun for Saturday/Sunday.

Tough to decide on these games tomorrow. If you use the bounce back theory, it would say Hawks, Grizzlies, and Clippers... tough to like the Hawks when they're 0-8 in game 7's in their history (not sure if this is on the road or overall) Grizzlies playing without Randolph (huge loss!), and Clippers who don't have an owner and it appears Jackson (Warriors HC) could be playing for his job (WTF! Golden State sucked before he arrived.)
Life in the NBA for these head coaches must suck as they are one tough series away from losing a job? I mean the Western Conference is lethal... I could see any team remaining winning it. The East is easy, it's Miami and a bunch of light contenders including the Pacers.

Leaning Pacers -6, Undecided Grizz game (hits double digits, tough to not consider), and probably Warriors although also undecided.

I'll be on all the dogs tomorrow. Just think the lines are too high for the way these playoffs have unfolded. Best of luck to you, whoever you end up taking. Look forward to your analysis. :toast:
