Well, Situational spots def factor in my capping, so just coming off a week break is a bit weird for me. BUT... we have a few...
Irrationally love the Suns tonight. Houston has had the Howard drama, and you know Harden was partying his balls off all week. The Suns on the other hand, took it as a chance to refocus - and salvage some dignity out of a disastrous season. I think they show a lot of pride tonight, and possibly win outright (or lose by 25 in typical Suns fashion, lol)
Obv enjoy the Blazers tonight. Don't think Warriors will maintain their level of excellence on a nightly basis as much as they did in 1H. They have had a lot of time this week to hear all about how freakin awesome they are. They mini-break could break their rhythm a little. Again, 9 points is just way too much in a game the young Blazers will be uber fired up for and have a chance to steal the first one, if their shooters are shooting.
Like the Pistons to come out strong. Wiz looked great last night, now just a short 1.5 point home fave to the equal Pistons. Pistons, like the Wiz, don't rely on shooting so much, and they have a bunch of non-star, hard working guys, so I think they will fare better off a break than most teams. Wanted to back them, but would have liked a better matchup than Wiz. Oh well, still taking the short road dog.
Suns +8/4.5
Blazers +9/5
Pistons +1.5/.5
Prolly will add to the first 2, but for now, i just dropped
20/20 on all these
