I tend to do better in the playoffs as opposed to the regular season in all sports for whatever reason, so I avoid regular season baseball and basketball for the most part. Football is the exception where I'll play the entire season, but everyone does that, right?

I have not watched a single NBA regular season game in its entirely this year and didn't last year either. I do listen to a lot of sports talk radio so I get the idea in cliff notes. Now I'll watch every playoff game and learn more as I go. As for the first round games, the picks will be based on lines, line movement and trying to be on the same side as Vegas. Do this consistently and you usually won't get hurt. Eventually I will figure out who the bench players are for the Toronto Raptors and why the Cavs even refused to play defense in early April. Oh yeah, and why Kyrie Irving thinks the earth is flat.
