Last night: 3-2
Both losses last night (IND, MIA) were oh so close to being winners, but I can't complain about 3-2 after so many 1-1 & 2-2 nights this year.
Plays to come later.............just kidding, yyz. Here's what I'm on tonight:
MIA +8.5 : Sure, the Heat are terrible, but they play hard and don't give up. Loser for me last night, but they were winning that game most of the night. The Wizards are terrible spread-wise at home this year, 1-5 so far. Washington will win, but I don't think they should be favored to beat anybody by 9 points right now.
CLE +7.5 : Just as the Wizards are a terrible spread team at home, the Spurs are just about as bad on the road (1-4 ATS). The Cavs are outmanned vs. just about any team, but they play much better at home, and with the big Z healthy can defend Duncan and Robinson with Ilgauskas and Tyrone Hill. Cavs have no answer for Tony Parker, but the Spurs are in the same boat in defending Ricky Davis (and Miles, I suppose). Cleveland could actually win this game if the Spurs don't focus on this one.
IND +4 : Minnesota plays tougher at home, but this year they haven't been as dominating there as they used to be. Indiana is off to a great start (7-1 SU, 6-2 ATS) and I just don't think the T-Wolves have enough bodies to hang with the Pacers tonight. On their home court, the Wolves can win this game, but I think the chance of them doing it by 5 points or more is pretty slim.
Good luck.
