17-7-2 Playoff Record after a somewhat lucky 2-2 day. Spurs was a tough loss, but was lucky to buy a half-point on Grizzlies and Pacers could have easily lost so I'll take it. Heat showed yesterday they might be ready to 3-peat.
Bulls @ Wizards - Been looking at forums and seems everyone loves the Bulls with Nene suspended. I realize this will hurt the Wizards and mean a lot more Booker, Gooden, etc in the post. Gortat has to step up as well and Washington has to play better at the Verizon Center where they can struggle at times. However, teams have to deal with the loss of one player for a game quite often and typically rise to the occasion. Dunleavy isn't going to shoot 8 of 10 treys again and the Wizards still could have won last game despite his heroic efforts, but lost in the last 20 seconds. I believe the Wizards superior backcourt is going to step up and lead them to a victory on Sunday and their depleted front court plays well enough to contain Noah, Boozer, and company. Hinrich and Butler haven't been much this series and hoping this continues.
Wizards -1.5 for 10*
Clippers @ Warriors - Now this is a completely different animal where even HC Rivers said his owner's comments have been a distraction and how can they not! The team was considering boycotting the game based on one report I read. It also doesn't hurt Golden State has typically owned the Clippers @ Oracle. Even if the moron didn't make his dumb comments, I still would be liking the Warriors to bounce back.
Warriors +2.5 (-120) for 10*
Rockets @ Blazers - Well Houston won Friday night in OT and Harden played incredible. It still was Portland who had a 4 point lead in OT before taking a number of questionable shots to end the game. Going with the bounce back theory plus Portland is tough at home and believe they find a way to take a commanding 3-1 lead on the Rockets.
Blazers -1.5 (-120) for 10*
Still debating the Nets vs. Raptors... small lean to Raptors at the moment, but tough game to call.
