Not that the NFL is full of law-abiding citizens, but I do believe they do a few things right. One of those is not letting players start too early. I think it will be a blow to the future of the game if Maurice Clarrett (sp?) is allowed to join the league next year.

I don't think it is due to the hip-hop culture. I think it has more to do with the fact that these guys are multi-millionares at the age of 18 and treated like they do no wrong. Many of us would be different people if it was us.

Just my opinion.

it is pathetic. the nba has created its own problems by giving these punks a ton of $$ when they don't deserve it. what i wouldn't give to be 18 again and 6'10. my abnk account would be large. how many of these kids are that good anyway ? for every one kevin garnett there are tons of terrible players that never amount to anything. the nba franchises have made their own problems by signing these children to big contracts. i am so glad the nfl has not caved in yet to clarrett. f' him. i hope he gets hurt the first hit he takes in the nfl. ridiculous amounts of money are thrown at these individuals and they are so ungrateful. it makes me sick. JMO
