Couple late games tonight:
Denver -5.5
I love this game tonight for numerous reasons. The Nuggets are playing very well right now and get a tired Spurs team coming in after playing a hard fought overtime game last night against Golden State. They will be lethargic after running up and down the court with the Warriors for over 48 minutes. To make the situation more difficult, they have to play in the high altitude of Denver. I think this game will be close and possibly even high scoring in the first half, but then the tired legs and altitude factor will set in with the Nuggets winning this game by 9-14 points.
Houston -7
The Rockets have not had a chance to gel together because the entire roster cannot stay healthy long enough. McGrady will play tonight, so this will be one of the few times that the "true starting 5" will be together. I think the Rockets are good without T-Mac, but when he is healthy it allows for them to present some other matchup problems. The Bulls are playing much better and Rose is playing tonight as well even though his foot is a little bit of a concern. What they do not do is play defense consistently against good teams. With McGrady back, Artest healthy, no one to guard Yao, I think Chicago is not going to be able to do the things needed in this game. With Rose not 100% and playing on the road in a tough environment I am taking Houston.
Good Luck!
