Early ideas

The Wiz and the Bucks Under, you have the Wiz who are struggling! back from a west coast trip B2B after one at home, I look for a lack luster performance.

Anybody?

I have been loving the dogs but tonight the Magic maybe a play they have handled the Jazz and PTB soundly and the Rockets are B2B and on the road not where they shine.

But the Dogs The Rapt's and the Hawks?

Anybody?

Wednesday

I am looking at the following!

Atlanta +4 (and maybe the ML) I know they are on a B2B and traveling to DEN but Denver is short handed and looks to be without Billups and Anderson for this match up. The Hawks are deep at the guard position and I cant see Affalo/Lawson/Carter stopping Johnson/Bibby/Crawford and without Anderson it will mean more minutes for Martin and Nene so any foul trouble and the paint will be free to roam. Hawks have some nice active bigs and I see this one getting away from Denver early.

Minn +4 (maybe the ML) I like Minny in this spot. They have played some decent road games this year and this young team is MUCH more competitive night in and night out than the Nets. Nets are also going to be short CDR and that will hurt an already injury laden team. I like the forward combo of Jefferson and Love and this Johnny Flynn is a real tough kid who will give Devin Harris a tough night on D.

Got 2 short road dogs I am liking!!

GS/NO U214 The warriors on a b2b either go way over or way under the total, and IMO it all depends on the style of ball the other team plays or the pace of play that is dictated. Chris Paul and Hornets will not get into a run and gun game with the Warriors ESPECIALLY at home. They love to control the tempo at home and will play half court offense most of the night and slow these warriors down.

Feedback is ALWAYS appreciated fellas!!

Hey JB

Hey JB

I wanted to give you my spin on two of your plays.

As I mentioned I do like Atlanta and have decided I will not bet against them for now and love going against Denver now for all the reason you mentioned but I am actually loving the UNDER in this game for all the reasons you said plus the public is ALL over the over, massive over position and if the line does not move much on the total then it could be my POD.

Minny and NJ i just do not like trusting either with my money...

And the Hornets I have tracked the Hornets as of late and they are scoring more and more, not sure what to say but I prefer the OVER.

QUOTE]

Not sure this is accurate:

avg for season: 98.1/game

avg last 10 games: 95.7/game

avg last 5 games: 94.2/game

avg for season at home: 98.5/game

avg last 5 at home: 96.6/game

Looks like "less and less" to me?

Like the idea of hot Hawks stealing one here, just not sure if there are some issues in the team.
Smoove got 5 fouls in 20mins yesterday, 4 in 28 game before that and his production as total has taken a hit in december compared to his hot start and it seems he's up to some of his crazy stuff.
Joe J is playing for contract and is taking a whole lotta shots, add Crawford who also needs touches and Bibby who's been slumping untill the last game, add Horford down low and that's bunch of players who all want to take a shot.

Something is off, Smoove production:
November: 34mpg, 12.8fga (51%), 4.6fta (16 games)
December: 25mpg, 10fga (47%), 4.8fta (10 games)

So, his playing style is pretty much the same, it's just that he's not getting same minutes, which in it self is an odd thing since he had such a hot month and should be getting a bigger role instead.

Hawks are 20-7 YTD, but 2-3 when he scores under 10pts.

Add a generally bad situation of playing on high alt back end of b2b and it might just not be worth it. Would like Hawks to take it tho.

College play (Slicer your thoughts?)

BYU -7 vs Nebraska (in Vegas) - I think BYU will be able to call this a home game...the football team played in Vegas last night, so their fan base is already there...and we all know it isnt hard to find a reason to stay in Vegas for a few extra days. BYU is 7-0 at home (Neb 1-2) on road.

Nebraska has this bloated 9-2 record, but they have 5 wins in "no line" games vs D II type teams. Even against this poor competition level their stats are not good - 47% team shooting, and 64% from the stripe vs BYU's 50% and 80%!! That is at least 4 of the 7 points covered right there. BYU can really fill the rim up averaging 82/game.

Love the nickname :142smilie Smooooveeee

Josh Smith, and you know what he means to that team, or what his current play without shooting bricks from beyond the arc mean to them.

Think the Hawks are beginning to come back down to earth somewhat - hot starts from the start of the season illusory for certain teams (and ought to be revised in light of the fact that it's around the 1/4 mark). The Hawks are better, but not sure if they are SIGNIFICANTLY so...

GSW NOH game

GSW NOH game

The total was 73% Under at 1 and
now is down to 62%.

It opened at 212 and now is up to 215.

I will not play the game, but I think the action is on the Over.
