Decided I am no longer playing 2H's, so will not keep them for record keeping purposes. I figure I gamble enough all day on the Street, so no reason to push for more action and waste away nights in front of the tv/computer.
Recap
11/8 GST +4.5 2* W
YTD 1-0 +2.0
Wednesday:
UTA +8.5 2*
Play this game at any line you can get, I would have made this a play down to +4.5, and had it been between +2.5 and +4.5 would have made it a 1* play. So if you can't tell, I like this one.
MIN -5.0 2*
Same as above...I would have literally taken this line at any number, I really mean that (well, unless LAL had opened up as the favorite).
NOR (or NOK, whatever you want to call them) -4.0 1*
Odd thing about this line is that I think it is too low, so not gonna take it for 2* (as it also pertains to working on the Street, "they probably know something that you don't, and if it looks too good to be true, it probably is")...had it opened around -6.5, would have liked it more. If this line settles at 6.0 (and only 6.0) near tip-off, I would lay off. Above or below that number and I like the Hornets. Don't ask why (wink)...
I hope to help you guys and appreciate any commentary or info that you can offer. You will see after reading my posts that I am not too concerned about the match-ups, injuries, trends, etc... My evaluation is based on 2 things: the line and my gut instinct. I try to take advantage of "reading the tape," or just looking at the lines and going from there. I will throw in some additional commentary here and there on different line value, but for the most part, it's pretty straightforward. Here's to a good season,
:drinky:
NYSE
P.S. I will try my best to keep the lame Wall Street jargon off my posts, but it's my life, so it's sometimes tough.
