I like NC State a lot today. A lot of points and I think they have a chance of winning outright.

The team has talent and is coming off a blowout win over Wake Forest who is awful followed by a solid win over Clemson. From what I've heard, refs favored Clemson a lot and State still won fairly easily.

You could say that NCSU might be looking ahead to UNC Wed night, but in this case I think its different. If State could win this game, all of a sudden their pathetic season now turns into a HUGE game against hated Carolina.

Find a way to get by Maryland and the UNC/NCSU game becomes a really big deal, especially for State, followed by 3 very winnable games and an outside shot at the dance. Sidney Lowe is fighting for his job and if State has any heart at all, they will show up like they did against Clemson.

My main concern is that Gary Williams a really good coach and MD needs this one too. I have to think State can stay within single digits...we'll see.

I'll take it! Went better than I thought it would for the first 35 minutes. Tied with about 5 minutes to play and then MD goes on 11-0 run.

Luckily State concedes down by 9 and MD doesn't shoot with 5 sec's left (shot clock expires)....

Good showing by State. I think if this team could come back with Lowe and Tracy Smith wasn't a senior next year.....a lot of offseason decisions for State.

I am a State fan.
Please God, let there be a new State coach next year. Lowe is awful.

Ozzy, I thought you liked UNC. Oh wait, that must have been during those glory days as you were reaching manhood. Sadly, as you attended college in the early to mid-90s...not sure you ever reached it. Should have stuck with the Tarheels as I did!
