ndnfan, I love your plays on USM and FSU. I've already got them. I'm also intrigued by Miami-Oh +13.5. Do you have rationale for taking them? Just curious and wanting to know more.

FM...AGREE With ya!

Jr.......First thing I do when I look at the games before I cap anything, I see what stands out. Well, Nebraska stood out along with a few others. These are what I consider "public plays!"

People think the line is a gift. People associate Nebraska with power and remember some of the dismall performances by Penn St last season, but if you actually go into the game and check everything out, more times than not, you'll find that not only is say Nebraska is not the play, but Penn St IS THE PLAY and the line on Penn St is actually the gift in my opinion.

Nebraska is not the same team as the past. If you look at their last couple, even though they beat Utah St, they really didn't pile of the yardage.

Nebraska was also outgained by Troy St in the prior game.

Nebraska's coach Frank Solich has trouble getting these guys up for the Big games. Under Solich, they have played top 25 teams on the road 7 times and of those 7 games they won just one game!

Being on the road will be difficult enough with the loud stadium, but will be even more difficult for QB Lord who's catching his 1st road game...the sound will be deafining.

Nebraska has really struggled playing on natural grass in the past as well, going just 8-17 Against the Spread on the real stuff.

Big key in the one as well is the fact that Penn St has had an extra week to prepare with the bye week and coach Paterno is very good in these situations and you gotta feel Paterno is prepared for this one especially. The last time they faced Nebraska was 20 years in a kickoff classic where they got smoked by them 44-6 so Paterno has a little extra incentive...trust me he remembers that yet.

GL :D

NY Reb....not much time to go into big detail on this game right now, but I will say I think the line is way out of whack and I feel Big Ben Roethlisberger has his way with LSU and this is a team that always plays to the caliber of the team they are playing whether it be a top team or a horrible team. They are a very good road team and believe the final score will be within one score. I believe Hellah has some good reading on this matchup if you wanna check out his thread.

If I get some time I will add more on this game...Like it bigtime though ;)

Well, lost on a missed extra point on the Pitt game, and just bad handicapping on my part on the Miami-OH game, but overall things pretty much played out how I thought.

RECAP: 7-3 (+2.6 UNITS)

Season: 19-14 (+1.4 Units)
Sides: 17-12 (+1.6 Units)
Totals: 2-2 (-0.2 Units)

See ya next week.
