Continuation
Well after looking through each of the above mentioned games in more detail I shifted some out and found the solid games I am playing.
They are:
Washington -1.5 WIN
The Huskies are perhaps the best rebounding team in the Pac-10 and that is a major weakness with this Bruins team. UCLA is a good squad, but is much more susceptible this year and will be exposed today. Washington attacks and moves well in transition. I like the Huskies to win this game by 5-6 points.
Oklahoma State +2 WIN
The Cowboys seem to be getting the short end of the stick this year with some tough losses to Baylor and Mizzou, but can keep up and compete with anyone in the Big 12. I think Nebraska is much improved and plays well at home, but I think the frustration and talent shows up today for the Cowboys. They win this game straight-up.
Penn State -5.5 LOSS
The Nittany Lions are a team that has been good to me at the betting window. The Big 10 has so many good teams where they all just beat each other up. Seems like every week one of the best games is a Big 10 showdown. Today Penn State comes out strong and with a win can potentially move into second place. Iowa has struggled with injuries and is coming off a win against Wisconsin. I think that is why this line is a little closer. Iowa is just not at the level of the rest of the conference.
Kentucky -5.5 WIN
The Wildcats have been one of the more impressive teams in college hoops over the past 6 weeks. Like I mentioned in a previous post when I took Kentucky against Georgia, the key is the re-emergence of Patterson who has had back to back good games. With him and Meeks controlling the tempo I just don't see how an inferior opponent, such as Alabama can match-up against them. The Cats rebound well and shoot their free throws at a remarkable clip. This game could stay close throughout, but because of their success on the boards and freethrow shooting I think this will separate them in the end. I like Kentucky on the road.
I will be back with some others. I am leaning towards SMU, LSU, TCU, and USC. Have to do some more due diligence before posting.
Good Luck and hopefully some of you are on board with me and we see eye to eye.
