Tough loss yesterday on North Carolina. Aside from suspending their sixth man, one other starter was out with the flu and then their starting center May goes down with a broken foot. They shot barely 30% and committed 23 turnovers. Tough night for the Tar heels and tough night for those of us that thought they would show more. Congrats to the Iona supporters. Today is a new day.

Stanford -2 over Gonzaga - This is my best play on the board. Stanford has really turned it around since their embarassing losses in their own tournament. Gonzaga on the other hand has been a shell of what they once were. They barely got by Eastern Washington and today they face a Pac 10 team and historically have not done well, even with good teams, against Pac 10 opposition. Gonzaga is already 0-3 against the Pac 10 this year and have been on the road for almost half a month. Gonzaga a road weary team going against Stanford with a "big" rebounding advantage...i like Stanford minus the bucket.

St. Josephs - 4 1/2 over Pacific - I always love to follow or play teams with superior guard talent over their oppostion and this game falls in that category. St. Josephs has a great backcourt that can play good "d" and should easily over match the Pacific guards. St. Josephs is a tough road team and even though Pacific has compiled a nice three game winning streak, those wins havent been against the quality of the opponent they will be facing today. Lay the points on this road favorite

Best of the rest:

Cleveland State +1 over Bowling Green
