Like I mentioned before I am from the West Coast and tend to lean towards those conferences. Tonight seems interesting. These are the games I like and others I'm leaning. Comments and opinions are extremely welcomed.
Washington -PK
This is my best game tonight. This is a revenge game. The Huskies come into this game as the co-conference leader and have lots to prove in this game. They lost at home to Cal and have since gone 5-1 beating UCLA, USC, and Arizona St by an average of 10 points. I consider those teams to be the top tier of the Pac-10 where Cal is right in the middle. Washington is legit and in my opinion the best team in the conference. This is a statement game and getting a chance to just pick with no points is too great of an opportunity.
Cal State Fullerton -5
The Titans have been playing to the level of their opponent meaning throw out the records and talent of whomever their playing and they will compete good enough to just win. Many of their games are decided by a small window of points, but tonight they get the Gauchos who have been playing dismally. Santa Barbara has been giving up more points recently on the road, which is not a good sign when you are playing against one of the highest scorers in Akognon. The Titans look to be spreading the wealth recently and learning to play an all around tempo when teams double up on Ako. This is the game where the all starters click at home and Ako has a big game. They pull away in this one.
Arizona -4
The Wildcats are playing the best ball they have played all season, which includes a huge win against previously mentioned co-leader Washington above. They travel into Corvallis to play the scrapy Beavers who miraculously are on a 4-game winning streak, which includes victories at Stanford and Cal. There is no doubt they have improved tremendously, but the fact is they are not nearly as athletic as Arizona is. The Wildcats are clicking and have lots of confidence going right now. I think with Budinger reaffirming himself as a big scorer and Wise coming into his own it just makes Jordan Hill that much better. Just too much talent on this team.
Good Luck! Might come back with a couple more. Comments are appreciated.
Thanks!
