Just started posting last week with the kickoff of NFL. I like to wait a couple of weeks for NCAA so I'm starting today.

NFL 6-1 YTD
NCAA 0-0 YTD

12pm EST Games

V.Tech (-35). This selection is based on the assumption that Duke will not score. It's a toss up between Temple of Duke for being the worst Div 1 team. Duke was shutout at home versus powerhouse Ricmond. Tech is 3-1 ATS in this series and have outscored Duke 86-17 the past two V.Tech has been shaky the first two weeks so I'm seeing Beamer getting on them. This line will be covered at halftime. V.Tech 48-0

More to come.....crunching some more numbers for early games.

BYU (+7) I live about 30 minutes north of Boston and follow BC very closely. They're presently ranked 109th in passing defense giving up 295 ypg and ranked 105 overall in defense. They lost 3 key players from that side of the ball last year and BYU has one of the better QB's in the country. Look for them to put up some points and hang tight.

Getting this play in now before line jumps:

ASU (-11) over Colorado:

A total of 20 points in two loses does not bold well for CU which has struggled under new head coach Hawkins. The Buffs hit rock bottom on opening day with a loss to 1-AA Montanta State and mustered only 118 yards of offense in last weeks lost to rival CSU. Even worse, CU is walking into a buzzsaw against ASU, which dropped 52 points in an easy victory over Nevada. QB Carpenter has been unstoppable with 7 TD's passes already. I'm expecting the ASU offensive explosion to continue this week.

What a slew of great 3:30pm est games today which includes in my opinion, the biggest games ever for two coaches (Miami & Mich).

Michigan (+5.5) over N.Dame: Even though ND is 3-1 SU the past 4 in this series, the avg margin of victory is only 5ppg. Pressure is on Lloyd Carr big time to have his team ready for this game which my wallet is banking on. See no reason why we won't see another close game. Take the points

Miami (+4) over Louisville: Again, Larry Coaker is on an even hotter seat than L.Carr's. I'm a big fan of very talented defensive teams which is what Miami has. I admit that they're going to have to put up 21 pts on offense, but I'm going to take Miami to keep their heads up and prevent a 1-2 start. Tight game

Oregon (-4.5) Over Oak: I'm expecting the Ducks run stop unit to put 8 guys up front and force OU QB Thompson to pass the ball which won't bold well for OU. Ducks looking for their first win versus Oak and you couldn't ask for a better stadium to make a young Oak QB come in and be forced to pass the ball. Ducks by 10
