Bama's beating both LSU and Auburn, they'll get by the East Champion South Carolina (. . . or Kentucky) and they only have to hope for at most two of the three teams in BCS conferences to lose a game (Michigan State, Oklahoma or Oregon). A one-loss SEC team has more poll respect than any other conference and there is no way that a one-loss SEC team is left out the Championship game for a Boise or a TCU......and then they've got to win a BCS NC game. Seems easy.

Road games are less intimidating when your colors are throughout the stadium. Looking like it's going to be a muddy track.

Football - 327 Michigan State -6 -105 for Game

plus. . .

Football - 305 Notre Dame/Navy under 49? -105 for Game
Football - 367 Alabama -16? -105 for Game

I like the Bama value. I just worry there will be a lot of political push for undeserving TCU and Boise.if they have the votes it can overcome the computers.

Bama OL and DL are not up to par for a championship team.

Maybe not. but let's face it there is Lot of garbage out there this year. The winner wil be quite far from perfect. And even with that there isn't another loss on the or schedule.

It is funny to me how badly Bama has the masses snowed. This team lost over 50% of their starters each of the past 2 seasons. Their skill players are far better than their grunts. That generally gets you in trouble against elite talent.

I KNOW factually that Bama staff is quite disappointed in the play of the OL and DL at the moment, and 1 DL is in the doghouse although it will not make the news;)

BTW, does anyone know if FLuker is playing this weekend?

Thank god there's nobody on their schedule that has a chance of exploiting that weakness.

It's 8-1, the same odds as Iowa State winning outright tomorrow and it's a lot more likely.

Nothing is wrong with you r play, and you certainly do not need a square like me to validate it.

LSU matches up well with Bama. I am sticking to that. I am fairly certain that I have(outside of late 2003 when it was clear to me LSU was the best team nationally) avoided acting like a fan when it comes to LSU through the years, and as I mentioned to you off the site, I fade LSU far more than I back them.

I know that showing heavy pressure, but dropping into coverage with concentration on RB in the flat is a great way to handle Bama offense. All you need is 2 excellent corners.

Botom line, I like LSU chances over Bama far more than LSU chances to beat Auburn. JMO, yo:toast:

No Okie State? Usually, we are on the same page. I'm betting against the team that just had its dreams of a Nat'l Championship shattered....and now has to go on the road with a Freshman QB to play a team that is uber-confident....Oh, and I almost forgot, Raymond is all over Nebraska!

Okie St is one of 3 teams this week that meet a profitable angle (57%, I think) over the past 10+ years.... Play home dog that won outright as road dog last week........
