It's one of the few rivalries not founded due to proximity but founded by excellence. Notre Dame owns a modest edge in the series(43-33) but it's only close because of some significant runs that U$C has gone on. But any significant run by the Trojans has always been followed with Major NCAA violations. . . . and we're in one of those violation periods right now.

The total is way off. Rees has looked competent against weaker competition, but $C's athletes can bait him and their bend but don't break defense is going to make ND go on long drives and it's not going to be easy. Barkley is fantastic, but the sheer size and push that ND's Dline has is going to make the timing on 3-step drops difficult and he's going to have to make decisions on the fly . . . not a strength of his.

Under 57 2 units

Also. . .

Illinois -4
Oklahoma State -7.5

Spartan - I like to give up about 2-3 points per game on my picks to keep it interesting. If I used everyone's line, I'd be the only thread anyone would look at.

Really excited to get out of the under play.

. . . and what the fuck is the point of having your own station if all the announcers openly root against you. The biggest supporter on NBC that the Irish have had on NBC in the past 20 years was an ex-USC QB.

How fucked up is that! Blow me, Flutie. . . I still remember '86, you little bitch
