I've switched my mind on this this week. Kelly backed himself into a corner and the Irish will have their best QB on the bench until Rees screws up because Crist got pulled too early, but one thing that Rees does in focus on WR Floyd and TE Eifert and Michigan in it's present state doesn't have anyone who can guard either.
ND's defense has grown significantly since the last time these two teams played and even though Robinson sets records at South Bend last year, the Michigan offense was held in check (28 points, 10 punts).
Tough atmosphere to go into for a young QB, but unless the piped-in Eminem is much louder than two years ago, Rees has been in more hostile environments.
