11/30: 6-2 +$505
Overall: 8-3 +$775

I paid the price on Duke last night. Most soon-to-be pros are in need of a "weight" program to get ready for the NBA...Banchero may be the first to need a "hydration" program to mitigate his chronic cramping and reach his potential (that or lay off the sauce a bit). Impressive comeback by the Bucks---will give them credit where a lot of other teams may have packed it in.

Tonight--more ACC/BIG10 action

Va Tech +1 220/200
Really like this team. Best player-Aluma--has started slow out of the gates, but he will be the best player on the floor. Home court advantage is for real and back in NCAAB(glad fans are back), but I think this road dog can eat tonight.

Mich St -4 220/200
Not sold on the Ville keeping this one within range. Sparty is getting better game by game. Izzo could be floating under the radar this year (after that spanking Kansas put on them in the opener).

Nebraska +6.5 165/150
If Manny Bates didn't get injured, I would be betting the Pack a lot this year. They'll still be decent, but have a much lower ceiling (plus they ALWAYS seem to underwhelm in televised games that are not against Duke). Similar to how I felt about Clemson yesterday---no faith!

Wisconsin -3.5 330/300
Badgers have a budding star in Johnny Davis. Their D will limit GT.

UNC +3 440/400
Think the wrong team is favored, here. Must be the coaching edge that Vegas is looking at (Juwan versus Hubert?)? Hubert with his first BIG home game since taking over. Bacot should be able to neutralize Dickinson. Caleb Love looks like he's taking a step forward from freshman year. Michigan has some nice young players, but hostile environment has all signs pointing to the Heels for me.

2 others

Auburn -10 275/250
Have one of the most talented teams in the country(on paper). The fear with Auburn (and Pearl) for me has always been lack of motivation/D. For a guy that seems to coach with so much passion, his teams fall flat a lot. They are a longshot I have to win it all (they are still 65-1). UCF is decent, but Auburn should be too much for them to handle on their home court.

Oklahoma +1 220/200
Porter Moser gets his first big win at Oklahoma.

GL All!

I like them all tonight.
Duke played well until the 4 minute mark and then showed their immaturity. OSU had a better game plan feeding the post whereas Keels and Banchero kept shooting jumpers. I at least pushed with the under.
This UNC team plays better with a slower pace. Tempted to take the under. Predict a 74-71 type game.

Thanks, Oakas, same to you.

lowell---agree with you on Duke to a point. Keels and Roach (sans 2 plays he made at the end of Zaga game) have played poorly since the Kentucky game. K talked about them running outta gas at the end---and it looked like it. LONGG season, and Duke should be one of the teams there at the end.

The UNC game seems like a wash on matchups. Michigan may have more pros (on paper), but UNC has the better players now (Bacot/Love > Dickinson/Eli Brooks). Dickinson just got owned by Christian Koloko of Arizona and Bacot is similar in skill set (not as agile). It'll take a BIG game from the Michigan freshman (Houstan & Diabate) to pull out a W at the Dean dome and I'm not seeing it. The total seems spot-on. See it UNC 78-76 or something. May play the first half over (currently 71.5); moto/adrenaline for both teams will be sky high in this environment

Hubert needs a good quality win and I think he gets it tonight. I have been to 20-25 UNC/Duke games in my lifetime. First game I saw Billy Cunningham score about 40 vs Duke in early 60s. Was an Iron Duke until it got too expensive. Met Hubert at one of the camps. Nice guy. Good luck tonight. Going to tag along and parlay UNC and over first half.
