11/30: 6-2 +$505
Overall: 8-3 +$775
I paid the price on Duke last night. Most soon-to-be pros are in need of a "weight" program to get ready for the NBA...Banchero may be the first to need a "hydration" program to mitigate his chronic cramping and reach his potential (that or lay off the sauce a bit). Impressive comeback by the Bucks---will give them credit where a lot of other teams may have packed it in.
Tonight--more ACC/BIG10 action
Va Tech +1 220/200
Really like this team. Best player-Aluma--has started slow out of the gates, but he will be the best player on the floor. Home court advantage is for real and back in NCAAB(glad fans are back), but I think this road dog can eat tonight.
Mich St -4 220/200
Not sold on the Ville keeping this one within range. Sparty is getting better game by game. Izzo could be floating under the radar this year (after that spanking Kansas put on them in the opener).
Nebraska +6.5 165/150
If Manny Bates didn't get injured, I would be betting the Pack a lot this year. They'll still be decent, but have a much lower ceiling (plus they ALWAYS seem to underwhelm in televised games that are not against Duke). Similar to how I felt about Clemson yesterday---no faith!
Wisconsin -3.5 330/300
Badgers have a budding star in Johnny Davis. Their D will limit GT.
UNC +3 440/400
Think the wrong team is favored, here. Must be the coaching edge that Vegas is looking at (Juwan versus Hubert?)? Hubert with his first BIG home game since taking over. Bacot should be able to neutralize Dickinson. Caleb Love looks like he's taking a step forward from freshman year. Michigan has some nice young players, but hostile environment has all signs pointing to the Heels for me.
2 others
Auburn -10 275/250
Have one of the most talented teams in the country(on paper). The fear with Auburn (and Pearl) for me has always been lack of motivation/D. For a guy that seems to coach with so much passion, his teams fall flat a lot. They are a longshot I have to win it all (they are still 65-1). UCF is decent, but Auburn should be too much for them to handle on their home court.
Oklahoma +1 220/200
Porter Moser gets his first big win at Oklahoma.
GL All!
