#10 Colorado look to make the most of their at-large bid when they take on #7 Michigan St tonight in the South Regional.

The Buffaloes make their first NCAA tourney in six years on the back of an outstanding 14-1 SU home record which included a perfect 8-0 in the Big 12. But they have lost eight of their last nine on the road by an average of more than 9 points per game.

The Spartans make their sixth consecutive tournament appearance and have made the Final Four in three of the last four years.
They come into tonight's game red-hot having won five of their last six games SU and ATS. Overall this season they are 19-12 SU and 14-13 ATS and are one of just two teams that can boast a win over #1 Kentucky. Key to their success has been outstanding defense as they have allowed opponents to shoot just 40.3% from the field this season and a miserly 35.1% thru their last six games. Last week the Spartans reached the semi-finals of the Big Ten before losing to Ohio St by just one point.

There are serious doubts on Colorado's ability to win away from home and tonight we'll take Michigan St to get the win and cover.

Michigan St. has lost 7 out of its last 10 on the road, including to Minnesota and Iowa. Perhaps neither team looks like a great road team....

Mich St. definitely gets the nod defensively, although Colorado held six of their last 10 road opponents under 70! Offensive nod goes to Colorado.

Good luck and thanks for the write-up.
