Definitely a marathon Grant! Can't wait until next weeks game between LSU/VTech. Should be fairly low scoring as both have great defenses. Good Luck with Week 2!
Thx, you too. It looks like VT and LSU defenses are clearly ahead of the offense at this point.
Wk 2 leans (strong leans bold):
UNLV +26.5 over Wisky Tough trip out west for Wisky. 1st road game of the season for inexperienced QB. Plus, this is a BS road trip for Wisky. Can't imagine players taking it seriously.
S Miss +12 over Tenn Vols have Fla on deck and are off of a prime time loss on the left coast.
Troy +28 over Fla
Boise -4 over Wash
Kent +13 over Kentucky Cats may get caught looking ahead to Louisville. The Cats D has weaknesses and can be exploited on the ground
Vandy +5.5 over Bama
WF +6.5 over Neb Neb waxed Nev and now travel, reluctantly I'm sure, to the east coast for this matchup. Meanwhile, a HUGE game vs. Souther Cal awaits them next week.
Utah St +25 over Wyo Wyo impressed this weekend, but they might be caught looking ahead to Boise St.

13 is a ton of points for the Va Tech defense, I agree. LSU's defense looked awesome to me, but I think we'd both agree those 45 points scored vs Miss State are misleading.

A team with a reasonable QB will not throw 6 ints. The 45-0 is very misleading. no doubt about it. I will definitely be on VT. LSU OL is shaky w/ OG Will Arnold still gimpy. I am watching the local rebroadcast of the Miss St game as I type. The right side of the LSU OL is getting manhandled.
LSU punt formation is ridiculous. Since they switched to it in Miles' 1st season, Tigers have had 2 punts blocked and at least 12 other near blocks including 1 vs. Miss St. They better watch out this weekend.

Only one game but the Wisconsin QB looked smooth as silk vs. WSU. Vegas isn't a tough place to play either. Utah should not be favored by 7- without QB, top back and bestlineman.
