Martinez

No doubt about his running but his throwing motion seems way too long/slow. He really winds-up even to throw a medium-length pass. If he had a shorter motion...snapping the ball...he'd be devastating.

playing Nebraska -6 for the 2nd half.

K-State MIGHT get in the end zone once, but I think the Huskers have at least 2 more TD in them.

Huskers getting the ball 1st is a plus for me. I think they take the opening possession down and punch it in. K-State will have to start airing it out and I can see them throwing a pick or 2.

K-State coaching is absolutely moronic... Martinez is the only real threat Nebraska has... you neutralize him and you have a chance.... why they hell do you drop 8 guys back on 3rd and 10???? You put pressure on his ass you dumb fucks

Only a freshman, they will work on his throwing(sometime) because when you can run the option the way they do you dont need to throw. He makes great decisions on when to pull the ball out and when to give it up.Agree his throwing motion could use some defining but he is a beast, only get better if he stays hungry.Surprising he ended up in Nebraska, was he highly recruited or did they find a gem?

He wasn't too highly recruited. Not many schools were recruiting him as a QB. Main reason he came to Nebraska is they said he would have a chance to compete at the position.

I'm sure it's easier said than done, but if your defending Nebraska you've got to make up your mind not to let the QB beat you with his feet; he's capable of going all the way with just the slightest of a crack. I'm impressed with the Corn.
