Toledo
I dont know what makes UCF such a strong play. Considering since as long as I can remember - UCF loses all their big games...and this game is certainly a big game for them. They allready know that they have no chance to win the MAC - but they continue to run there mouths and say they are the best. Well we folks here in Toledo thought we were gonna have a rebuilding year - its been anything but that. We have reloaded with the best running back tandems in the MAC and have the smartest QB out there. UCF has had problems stopping the run and even problems running the ball themselves. Toledo's offense is very well balanced and considering we have the biggest OLine in the nation (6'5" 320lbs avg.) it gives our QB all day to throw the ball - hence the 71% completion percentage.

However, Toledo does have there woes - especially in the secondary. We have had problems with the secondary since last year. It`ll be hard to cover Doug Gabriel and my guess would be they double cover him. I didnt attend practice this week so I dont know the defensive scheme. And Toledo special teams just suck...straight out terrible. The kicker that took my spot has missed like 3 FGs and 5 PATs this year.... :nooo: Another sore spot would be the fact that Toledo has always had problems playing away on grass. Not sure why....but they just do.

hellah:

I'm on Toledo, too. Like it. Little more established program.

The heat down there does bother me. But I'm thinking Toledo's pedigree pulls em through. Agree w/ your statement that Toledo should run the ball well today.

Totally unrelated to this gm, got a little note for you. Wyoming has 0 FGs this yr, and is 9/14 on xtra pts! Talk about kicking woes. Dude, you could walk on there TODAY and kick for them tonite! The Cowboys need you! At the high altitude, you'd probably be good up to 55 yds!

GL, man. Have a good day.

thanks for the reply hellah, some of the points you brought out were
the reasons that i thought cfu could be a strong play. toledo's
secondary, the kicking game, and playing away on grass all seem to
add up to a very nice edge for cfu. i could be wrong and have been
before. thanks for the info and good luck always.:D

like the cheerleader part sounds like the play of the day!!!
