if uconn can trap mich st at the end of the game and force turnovers, how come they dont employ this strategy earlier in the half

bear in mind, i dont play organized ball, or know if its always that easy?

it falls under the same explanation needed on why nfl/college football teams can score at the end of a half/game almost 90% the time

but

at the beginning/middle of a game they can only score on about 20% of their possessions.
