I deleted a CRUCIAL email from my gmail account. It was deleted out of the trash as well.

If you deleted it out of the trash there is no way to retrieve it.
Did you reply to the email you really need? You may get lucky and have a copy of it in your sent box if you replied to it.

Try a system restore. You can restore your pc to an earlier date... like two days ago. So anything you deleted will be there..

The problem is that the email isn't stored on his computer, it's stored on gmail's servers. So once you delete it from their servers there isn't any way to get it back unfortunately-
I have your answer and this is the only way it can be done.
If the sender - or the recipient can send it back to you from their "Sent Box" OR their "In Box" then you can recover it.
I have had a co-worker deal with this problem and this is the only solution - Gmail can recover it ONLY if you can call within a half hour of the deleted email.....
