Heading to Louisville Thursday. I will be attending the Oaks races on Friday and the Derby on Saturday. I am a casual observer of these boards, and have come to gain a lot of respect for the Handicapping skills of the few that post on the board. I myself, am just a casual bettor as I will go to the OTB about once a month and consider getting out of there with my own shirt a victory. I need some help for betting the races on Friday and Sat. since I will probably be too inebriated to make a logical bet. I was looking at maybe betting Saarland on Saturday and trying some exotics with some horses with long odds, but basicaly have no clue as of yet. Will be looking for some tips from you guys so that I can at least have a moderate chance of cashing some tickets this weekend. Let me know if you can help me out.......Your input is appreciated...By the way, I was only looking at Saarland because the Derby distance may suit him, as he seemed to come of the pace and make a charge in the Bluegrass. Also, was looking at Essence of Dubai since he has raced at the distance before, but have heard some negativity of late. Basically, I want to print out some of the pics you guys are thinking of making, so I can have fun without having to put too much of my own thought process into it. I know this is selfish, but was hoping you guys could help a Madjack member out......Thanks.....

The entries won't come out for a few days yet but I'll give you one favorite to bet AGAINST: Orientate. He is supposed to run Saturday in the Churchill Downs Handicap at 7 furlongs. He just won the Phoenix Cap at Keeneland with the trip from heaven. He got loose on the lead on a tremendous rail; the other speed that figured to push him got checked hard at the break, leaving Orientate with a perfect trip. The horse who ran second, a Bobby Frankel horse (the name escapes me), ran a tremendous race going wide and wasn't beaten much. On a normal racetrack he will destroy Orientate, who will probably be a heavy favorite.

Thanks. I'll be sure to make a note of this. I also saw some of your picks for 4/27 and I'll be sure to research those close to post time. Thanks again, and keep me posted on any new developments.
