thinking maybe pitt and over teaser for 4 units, pitt +3, over 30.5
still open with a low score. is there any other way?

Well old timer looks like a little of this and that like your saying is about what to do. Looks like you do need to protect Tenn/Over some. With that Maybe Pitt SU not tezed a little. You can cover and maybe middle the Su laying the 3. And catch one of the tezes to. I guess its how much you want to gamble. And how much you liked the bet to start with.

i went down with s.f., balt.,s.d. and n.e., although all hit the teaser, seattle was also the wrong side. right sides: indy, oak, ne. over, wash.
so basically it was a 50-50 split straight up. can't feel much confidence with that. the tenn dog with previous dominance over pitt makes a lot of sense, as opposed to pitt +3, but what do we know? s.f. had it locked and all hell broke loose. flutie won the game but lost the battle to johnson, and the cover. brady lost his marbles toward the end of the game.
last time a faced a decision like this one i rode a 2,200 parlay payoff on a side on monday night and lost it by one point (damn elway). gulp!!!
the balt teaser win was also by 1/2 a point, -7 +6.5. s.d. had help from some angels to win that game and cover the teaser. confidence?? not really.
i will keep reading and see what i can come up with.

Pep, I would consider something like this:
To try and make a little.
Parlay pitt -3/ over 38? say for 200
then hu on over 38 ? for 300
lose both of these you clear approx 650.
If Pitt doesn't cover ,the total will be the hedge. If Pitt covers , but leaves the plus 9? alive , the total is the hedge, and a potential sweeper. Hope this helps a little.

On 2nd one , I would hedge it with Pitt -3, for a cinch profit, then sit back and sweat it out. GL

well, all bets are off for mnf, this being a maf.
i emptied the account (LOL) on pitts to offset.
can only lose with tenn and the over 43, and with my luck, that will probably be the play.
