Need help with this angle triggered by Dogphish SOS

In Dogphish's Strenght of Schedule Thread, AR182 indicated that last year the team with the most challenging SOS won 70% of the bowl games. Obviously all of us would take that precentage any day.

I would like to look a little deeper and see if there is a trend that combines the SOS with dog/fav and looks at totals as well as covers.

I hope this makes sense. Sometimes it is hard to communicate this kind of thing

Any suggested resources would be appreciated.

My suggestion is to go to Sagarin website and look up his archives and calculate the data. He has past years rankings & SOS's. So just get the lines/&results from another site and calculate away. If you don't like Sagarin, maybe the other computer polls have archives. I know Sagarin does and I think his SOS is the most valid.
